Holiday Island began as a development in 1970. With
a population of 1,500 across an area of 4,500 acres, it maintains an idyllic, wooded setting. Holiday Island amenities include a full-service marina and yacht club,
a clubhouse, restaurant and recreation center
with two community swimming pools, tennis,
shuffleboard, volleyball and a softball field.

Golf facilities make a premier attraction; there is a nine-hole executive golf course, plus an eighteen-hole course. There are no user fees at the recreation facilities and no green fees on the golf courses for property owners.

Holiday Island is located at the headwaters of beautiful Table Rock Lake, which spreads up into Missouri. The shoreline length is 745 miles, with many public parks and marinas for all to enjoy. Table Rock Lake is often called "The Fisherman's Paradise," with a reputation as one of the best bass fishing lakes in the hemisphere. This lake is also an adventure for scuba divers, with intricate rock formations and even an old bridge completely underwater! Lake Leatherwood is the centerpiece of a gorgeous 1,600 acre city park, with a new hiking trail sure to please any outdoors enthusiast.

Beaver Lake, just west of Eureka Springs, offers 28,000 surface acres to enjoy, and adventurous anglers can test their skill against large and smallmouth bass, crappie, bream, white bass, stripers, and channel and spoonbill catfish. Below the dam, the cold waters of the upper White River provide perfect habitat for rainbow and German brown trout.

To truly enjoy the scenery of the Ozarks, grab a canoe and head for the White River. The trip takes you back in time, past old train trestles and quiet bluffs, to gentle solitude and softly streaked sunsets.

Also delightful is a trip down the Kings River, one of America's few remaining pristine, undammed streams. The Kings River sports fantastic fishing, deer and turkey hunting and amazing views; watch for the native wildlife along the banks!
